According to one manga, "Shine On! Ultra Warriors!!," Ultra Father has one main attack: the Ultra Black Hole. This attack is so serious, according to Ultra Mother, that it had not been used in 50,000 years. The same manga indicates that Ultra Father formed the Space Garrison, the organization to which all of the Ultra-Warriors belong, as the result of a commission by Ultraman King in a dream.

One Email correspondent, Leong, has this to say about Ultra Father's black hole attack:

I have found info about ultraman father.in an episode ultra mother said that ultra father got his black hole attack by destroying[with the help of an extinct race on the moon]a monster known as Kaslon who was 7770000 years old and whocame from Dimension Kira by using a black hole as a gateway and had created negative waves surrounding the M15 galaxy.ultra father was out at that time and could not get into the M15 galaxy went to the milky way which was also being surrounded and defeated kaslon by tricking him[he cannot talk except in his own language] into the black hole got the black hole attack by extending a moon-made device into the black hole.the moon people made this so the black hole would vanish.

Ultra Father also has a special item called the Ultra Array. A cylindrical rod with two spherical light-emitters at the ends, it could temporarily blind an enemy's eyes. He also has a power beam, the Father Shot, fired by placing his arms in an "L"-shape. The manga "Ultraman Super Warrior Legend" also mentions a beam that comes from Ultra Father's horns.

Ultra Father once saved Ultraman Ace and the other Ultra-Brothers before him from a monster, Hipporito, that turned them all into stone. Ultra Father rescued them by sending the energy of his ColorTimer into them. They then defeated Hipporito and returned Father to M78 for a recharge in the proverbial nick of time. (Apparently there is some small amount of time between the ColorTimer going dark and a particular Ultra-hero "never rising again." Ultraman was rescued by Zoffy after his ColorTimer had been damaged by Zetton; he was able to get Ultraman back to M78 before he expired.)
