THE LIPOLYSIS METHOD
 BROCHURE  Part 2.
A credit of a Lipolysis treatment is that it pinpoints at the spot where the skin indicates inactive adipose cells.
Electro lipolysis employs quite small electric currents, being brought into the cell tissue first by means of very thin long needles, in a later phase via pads that stick onto the skin.
In the first phase the tiny currents are adjusted so that the circulation round the adipose cells is re-established through interaction with the micro blood vessels. They affect as well the ion-balance of the cells. Also the hormone system that produces the enzyme for the decomposition of fats, is activated.
In the second phase these tiny currents take care of the stimulation of the fibres in the subcutaneous connective tissue, between which the removed fat had been stored, so that the elasticity of the skin improves and may show nicer at the very long run.
For the third phase pads are being stuck to the legs. With an ingenious program the leg muscles are strained and restrained in such a way that "pump action" results . Some people perceive this as very pleasant.
Equipment for Electro lipolysis is computer-controlled and provided with security features to safeguard the client completely.
PRACTICAL ASPECTS of a LIPOLYSIS TREATMENT
The three phases will be executed consecutively and will take about 90 minutes all together.
First the skin is drawn up accurately where adipose cells must be tackled. Usual Electro lipolysis equipment is designed with 4 to 10 "channels", depending on price and manufacturer, so that as many selected skin areas can be treated simultaneously (thus shortening the length of the treatment session).
The subcutaneous connective tissue hardly contains sensory nerves. Into this tissue very fine needles are positioned parallel to the skin. These needles are not hollow thus they are thinner than the thinnest injection needles; therefore only the piercing of the skin is weakly noticed.
Phases 1. and 2. are executed with the same needle positions, only the tiny currents and their wave forms are different.
The treatment can be repeated without drawbacks several times in a month.

Weight Loss Methods
Compared + Explained

IS ELECTROLIPOLYSIS APPLICABLE to EVERYBODY?
Some common "counter indications", CI's, are: pregnancy, epilepsy, pacemaker. The physician is also familiar with the other CI's.
Further the water/saline balance (Potassium- and Sodium-ions) must be normal. Some prescribed drugs shift that balance. This will be checked too by the physician. Apart from these reserves everybody, women and men can take the treatment without risks, if necessary.
WHAT (not) to EXPECT from LIPOLYSIS?
The Electro lipolysis-method aims at the INACTIVE fat cells upon which weight reduction methods cannot get hold. The freed fatty acids will be stored elsewhere in the body, if not used immediately.
Electro lipolysis replaces fat. Electro lipolysis is not a weight reduction method, it is a fat mobilizing method (and a very effective one). A reduction of 7 cm (singular measurement) of the hip-girth after a pair of treatments is common.
Lipolysis can very well be combined with weight reduction methods. The Simeons-hCG method (Dr A.T.W. Simeons, see The Simeons Method) links up very well with a Lipolysis treatment.
After a "big turn" of 6 to 8 Lipolysis treatments it is not unusual to take a "small turn" once or twice a year to stabilize the result.
Lipolysis can also be applied in a cosmetic studio, when weight reduction is not wanted but a figure correction is required. For this application the medical licence (doctor) is again demanded.

LIPOLYSIS differs from LIPOSUCTION
Liposuction sucks through a thin tube adipose cells with fat and all away from under the skin. The method is "destructive". Fat is at the same time moved from the body. Electro lipolysis on the contrary uses the body's own abilities. The body itself must dispose of the fat.
