1. eAds [ January 23, 2000 ]eAds is a banner hosting organization for Webmasters. It has been around for a long time, and has a very good website layout and operational control over the program. They have been quite reliable both in service reliability and customer support. They are strict about ad placement, site content and click-thru ratios. They will show you how many clicks you get, but not how many exposures your site is generating. It is unfortunate because they determine whether you are cheating from that ratio, and will simply cut you off if they deem you cheat. I have heard of various instances when this has happened.
Each unique click per day from any of the ads rotating on your site get you 10 cents. They track clicks, ip's etc, and will not pay if you are running programs to cheat the system. They will catch you, so please don't join if you plan on doing that.
2. One and Only Network [ October 13, 1999 ]This is a combination of services; U-Trade, One & Only Network, Alternative Connections and Opportunity Plus. U-Trade is a free auction internet. The One & Only Network is an online internet-personals matchmaker system, and one of the largest on the net. Alternative Connections caters to a younger non-mainstream audience, providing matchmaker services. Finally, the Opportunity Plus runs as a pay-per-click program.
The pay-per-click rate for October 1999 is listed at 42 cents. However, their payment rates are linked to your conversion rate (sales to traffic ratio) which might make a significant difference, depending on your audience. They also pay for webmaster referrals - so if you have a website, and want to try your marketing genious, please follow my link here and get started.

3. e Viewbar [ December 18, 1999 ]This is a pay per view/impression banner program for webmasters. They pay 50 cents per thousand views. At the moment they are only acepting members, and not hosting banners as it is just starting. The referral stats are not yet working either. However, this is an up and coming banner utility for webmasters.
This site will crash Netscape, so you better use MSIE until this problem is corrected.
4. Best Bucks [ January 20, 2000 ]A general webmaster income program, including 404-error trapping. This is an adult content banner program, and is summarized in the link images below. Many free website hosts do not allow direct links to adult pages, so be sure to review your site content rules before using links from such a program. I use this one elsewhere.
5. Safe Audit Banners [ January 23, 2000 ]This is an elaborate banner hosting program. There are dozens of categories thet your website might fit into, and a great range of different banners you could choose to host on your site. Some are paid per exposure, some paid per click-thru, and some pay you for every signup. Commissions may be from .01 cent per exposure, 3 cents per click, and $25 per signup.
The larger your site, and the more exposure or clicks you generate, the more you will be worth to them, and you may gain better access to higher paying banners and ratios. Customer service is good for all members, regardless of the size of your site. Of course, the bigger you are, you will be able to get more than basic services I am sure.
If you have a website, this banner hosting program is recommended for you. Great stats and tracking, and a good selection of fixed ads allow you to choose what ad will reside in different parts of your website. Put an ad for a credit card in your financial area, and an ad for travel on your world site page. Other banner programs have rotating ads which could result in lower click-thru rates.
Hmmm... Yesterday this was a webmaster pay per impression banner program. Today, the url is empty. Maybe a y2k thing? Maybe they are gone? Maybe just a major failure... Typical on the internet.
Don't use Netscape (4.7) with this one - it just seems to lock it up.
They will pay $1 per 2000 ads shown - that is $.0005 per ad. Even the most popular of sites wouldn't take such an offer, the bandwidth alone costs more. But, pay per impression, instead of clicks might be cool.

This is a webmaster banner program only. Basically an online adult oriented dating program. Various kinds of forms and banners can be added to your site. If someone joins a program, you will get 20% commissions. They try to make the program look like a dating and matchmaking service. It is really just an adult oriented tool, you make the call if you want to get involved. If you have an adult site, this might be good for it.
This is a smaller, more recent version of eBay. It is a personal sale & auction site. During their promotion and expansion phase, they are rewarding affiliate members with stock in the company when it goes IPO for helping gain members. All you have to do is join yourself... And help me gain a share or two too.
Hot Yellow Pages 98, as listed in the introduction to thise page, is a web hosting organization. They provide 15mb of webspace, email, banner exchange and commissions on anything sold thru your site. They also pay for referrals from your site(s) of $0.75 each new member. It is one option in the ocean of free websites, but at least this one is large and will probably be around for a long time to come.
FFA Blaster is a Free-For-All links submission program. Over 700 FFA sites are included in the full version, and the free trial version will submit your websites to 100 of those sites. The registered version will also submit to search engines. You can generate CGI and HTML for your own FFA pages. Registration is for life, and includes future upgrades at no cost.
The world's first true 1 for 1 banner exchange. Others claim 1 for 1, but actually provide 1:2 ratios. Why not join an exchange that will not short-change you! After all, it is free. You can get your fair share of banner exposures, plus earn money from your website. Why not join an exchange that does not lie about their services?
