After moving from Germany to Britain, Chinch Gryniewicz has been working
as a semi-professional and
a professional photographer since 1987.
He specialises in environmental photography encompassing flora and fauna, natural history,
ecology,
conservation and pollution as well as more personal 'impressionistic' landscape and
abstract work.
His collections include pictures from East Africa, Morocco, the South Eastern USA,
Portugal, the Canary
Islands, Germany (including former East Germany), Ireland and, of course, Britain.
Since 1988, he has been a contributor to Ecoscene, Britain's leading environmental picture
agency, who
currently hold some 4,500 of his pictures on file.
He has had his pictures published in more than 40 books, magazines such as the BBC
Wildlife Magazine,
and a number of audio-visual presentations by environmental organisations.
Past clients include the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, Birdlife
International, Trinity
Lighthouse Corporation, Baobab Farm (Kenya), Friends of the Earth, the Design Partnership
Wales, as
well as local city and county council.
Chinch is based on the Gower peninsula in South Wales, but is happy to travel to anywhere
on the planet.
He would gladly consider any potential commissions and short or longterm projects
addressed to him via
Ecoscene. Having a personal and committed interest in the environmental issues he is very
happy to
consider special rates for charities, pressure groups etc.
Since 1994 (after obtaining an HND in design), Chinch has also been specialising in
digital work using his
own photographs as source material. He is an expert in PhotoShop and other image
manipulation
software. |
