High-Tech #S75K214
With a Kodak Digital Science Document Scanner
7500, you'll be able to cruise through daily scanning volumes up to 25,000
pages with ease. It features on-board Adaptive Threshold Processing (ATP)
to save time and enhance image quality. A robust paper transport, advanced
document feeder, and fast throughput rate provide productive, reliable
duplex scanning. Yet the small footprint of the Document Scanner 7500 allows
you to implement scanning virtually anywhere.
A proven foundation of reliability
The Document Scanner 7500 leverages its design strength from Kodak Imagelink?
Scanners, the industry leaders among high-volume production scanners. Its
enhanced transport handles an unsurpassed range of document sizes, thicknesses,
and surface quality to minimize stoppages and the need for exception scanning.
An advanced document feeder accepts mixed-size documents in stacks up to
1.5" (or approximately 200 pages), further reducing operator time and labor
costs.
Productive scanning you can depend on
The Document Scanner 7500 scans up to 120 pages per minute (A4 letter-size,
landscape mode, 200 dpi; 90 ppm portrait); equivalent to 240 images per
minute in duplex mode. Simple controls, preprogrammed function keys, and
available accessories help operators become efficient with little training.
In a single pass, the Document Scanner 7500 will scan the fronts and backs
of documents, and read bar codes and patches to reduce manual data entry,
while printing information such as time/date or sequence number. And your
scanning reliability will be backed by a responsive, global network of
certified Kodak Field Engineers.
Shift your scanning into high gear with the image quality, productivity,
and reliability of the Kodak Digital Science Document Scanner 7500.
Built-in ATP provides more throughput with less scanning
The Document Scanner 7500 incorporates dynamic thresholding capabilities.
ATP provides uniform image quality from batches of intermixed documents.
This eliminates the need to presort documents by background color, print
density, or quality. In many cases, compression is also improved, resulting
in smaller file sizes. Rescans are minimized and more work gets done faster.
