The Kodak Digital ScienceTM Document Scanner
9500 is designed for high-volume production scanning applications. It handles
daily volumes of 12,000 to 30,000 pages and higher. The Document Scanner
9500 features on-board Adaptive Threshold Processing (ATP) to save time
and enhance image quality. A robust paper transport, advanced document
feeder, and fast throughput rate provide productive, reliable duplex scanning.
Plus, it's backed by a worldwide service and technical support network
to help assure you of maximum uptime and the most pages scanned per shift.
Save time and steps with ATP
The on-board dynamic thresholding capabilities
of the Document Scanner 9500 mean there's no need for an expensive accessory
board. ATP provides uniform image quality from batches of intermixed documents.
This eliminates the need to presort documents by background color, print
density, or quality. In many cases, compression is also improved, resulting
in smaller file sizes. Rescans are minimized and more work gets done faster.
A proven foundation you can depend
on.
The Document Scanner 9500 leverages its design
strength from Kodak Imagelink(?) Scanners, the industry leaders among high-volume
production scanners. Its enhanced transport handles an unsurpassed range
of document sizes, thicknesses, and surface quality to minimize stoppages
and the need for exception scanning. An advanced document feeder accepts
mixed-size documents in stacks up to 1.5" (or approximately 200 pages),
further reducing operator time and labor costs.
Flexible and fast to meet your
needs
The Document Scanner 9500 provides cost-effective
support for distributed document scanning by facilitating batch processing.
ATP and auto-feeding allow an operator to feed batches of mixed-size documents
continuously. The feeder, exit hopper, and controls are positioned conveniently
to help operators work efficiently. Document order is maintained, minimizing
the need for document handling after scanning. A variety of accessories
enable you to match scanner capabilities to your needs. For example, bar
code reading and patch reading are available to reduce or eliminate the
need for manual data entry. Or you may require the Check Feeder and Stacker
accessories to process volumes of check-sized documents more efficiently.
The Document Scanner 9500 scans up to 160 pages per minute (A4 letter,
landscape mode, 200 dpi, 120 ppm portrait); equivalent to 320 images per
minute in duplex mode.
Be ready for your peak volumes and future growth
with the throughput and reliability of the Kodak Digital Science Document
Scanner 9500.
