solutions. In fact, the MaxLyb family has a disk swap time unsurpassed
in the industry. The system's robotics feature a two disk transport on
most MX models, which brings your data on-line faster than ever. The Maxoptix
T4-2600 optical drive supports a data transfer rate of over 4.6MB per second.
Any data you request is available automatically, within seconds. This combination

Reliable
The MaxLyb optical jukeboxes are designed to exceed the reliability
needed for your most demanding applications. The MaxLyb MX models have
a proven MSBF (mean swaps between failure) of more than 1 million cycles
and they're designed with a closed air environment. So they'll never require
preventative maintenance. And you'll never need to worry.
Supports both rewritable and write-once media
All MaxLyb jukeboxes use Maxoptix T4-2600 multifunction optical drives
which support both rewriteable and write-once (CCW) media. Just load your
data, and the T4-2600 automatically detects which type of media you've
used. You get the flexibility to use applications requiring re-writing
of data or (for those who need the added security) of using write-once
format.
Full support of industry standards
MaxLyb jukeboxes accept any ISO compatible 2.6GB, 1.3GB, 1.0GB or 650MB
media in either the 1024 or 512 bytes per sector format. This means the
MaxLyb family will most likely work with your existing 5.25" optical data.
