The MultiSync M500 monitor offers home and business users revolutionary
image quality plus built-in sound and voice capabilities, designed expressly
to meet the demands of today's applications. The CromaClear CRT,
exclusive to NEC Technologies, is the main attraction of the new feature-rich
MultiSync M500 multimedia monitor. The CromaClear CRT combines the best
features of dot-trio and aperture-grille monitors into a slot mask, providing
outstanding image quality.
In the near future, monitors with multimedia capabilities are expected
to become a standard as the use of multimedia functions accelerates. Users
will need increased clarity and contrast for a variety of graphics-intense
applications including educational programs, games, interactive training
programs, video conferencing and the viewing and development of on-line
services and World Wide Web sites. Also, sound and voice capabilities
are becoming necessary as users begin to take advantage of software applications
that facilitate voice annotation, dictation, voice-to-text word processing
and telephony applications such as an answering machine or voice mail.
