The SDT-S9000/BM and SDT-9000/BM are the ideal solutions for data backup
and recovery in larger local area networks. The 9000 series DDS-3 DAT Drive
sets the pace. Typically sixty percent faster than other DDS-2 DAT Drives,
the 9000 series DAT drive moves data at 2.4 MB/sec via a fast SCSI-2 interface.
It has a 24 GB capacity, is fully compatible with DDS-1, DDS-2, and DDS-3
cartridges and supports Cheyenne, Dantz, Legato, Seagate and other backup
software.
The 9000 series has also earned an MTBF rating of 200,000 power-on hours
and employs Sony's patented Super Head Cleaner mechanism for reliability
and
ease of maintenance.
