Building on years of research and development in optical storage peripherals, including CD-ROM, CD-R, Rewritable optical and Write Once optical, Sony now utilizes its expertise in optical drives and jukebox robotics to create a new family of CD-ROM library systems. Designed to be configured for the broadest variety of applications, the Fyla CD-ROM Libraries can be tailored to meet data storage needs from maximum total capacity to maximum on-line data access.

High Speed Robotics

• Utilizing the field proven robotics design developed for the OSL line of optical jukeboxes, the Fyla CD-ROM jukebox series offers fast disc exchange of less than 4 seconds average.

• A low disc to drive ratio of 31.25 to 1 with 125 discs and 4 drives Higher storage capacity of 225 discs and 4 drives for 146.25 GB Drive configurations of  4 CD-ROM, 4 CD-R or a mix of 2 each

• Easily increase capacity from 125 to 250 discs in increments of 25 discs Add drives up to a total of 6 in any configuration of CD-ROM and/or CD-R drives   (Maximum of 200 discs with 6 drives)
