So far in 1998 I have quit the festival biz.... I mostly just work at the Rose Garden Arena now. Festivals can be fun but they are way too stressful. The I.A.T.S.E. Local 28 has given me far better working conditions than I got while employed by Fuller productions. At the Rose Garden I have worked with national acts such as; The Rolling Stones, Rush, Elton John, Spice Girls, Janet Jackson, Beastie Boys, Styx, Pat Benatar, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Boys to Men, Stevie Nicks, Wide Spread Panic, Queensryche, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Tool, Puff Daddy, ZZ Top, and so many more.

In 1997, I was the stage manager of The Rose Festival Showcase of Floats. I was the production manager and stage manager of the Taste of Beaverton, where we had such artists as Lou Rawls, Dave Mason, and many more nationally known performers. Next was The Waterfront Blues Festival at which I was the production manager of and also the South stage manager where many artist were filmed and aired on the local cable access channel. Then I worked The Bite of Portland as the production manager and the Main Stage manager. There I was enlightened with the visit of VH1's Route 97 portable show. They had a national headliner called Bare Naked Ladies. VH1 had only one of 5 stages that provided more than 50 acts over a 3 day span with attendance of over 250,000 people. The I.A.T.S.E. Local 28 provided me with the chance to work in the setting up of The Smithsonian exhibit which is known as the worlds biggest traveling show. I also worked for the I.A.T.S.E. Local 28 at the Rose Garden Arena with such bands as Rush, Metallica, Reba, Brooks and Dunn, Barry Manilow, David Coperfeild, Hank Williams Jr., and very many more...

In 1996, I worked The Mount Hood Festival of Jazz as a stagehand for my third year. Also I was hired by the Rose Festival as a rigger doing various high work. I was the stage manager of several outdoor festivals in Portland Oregon including: The Taste of Beaverton, The Waterfront Blues Festival (for the Oregon Food Bank), The Bite (for Special Olympics), The Hawthorne Street Fair, The Last Chance Summer Dance (for Muscular Dystrophy Association). Some of the national acts I coordinated were: Def Leppard, Canned Heat, Kenny Loggins, Color Me Bad, Ambrosia, Quaterflash, Guitar Shorty, KC and The Sunshine Band, and Elvin Bishop.

In 1995, I was the stage manager of the Beaverton Good Neighbor Days. I was the assistant stage manager for following events: The Bite, The Last Chance Summer Dance, and The KGON Need to Read Benefit for Oregon Literacy at the Melody Ballroom. I worked my second year as a stagehand at The Mount Hood Festival of Jazz doing the setup and production work during the festival. The rest of the year I worked for Mick's Will Do Crews, a local event crew supplier for companies like: Hollywood Lights, R.A. Reed Productions, Nike events, and many others. I worked on and set up most of the festivals and concerts in Portland and other locations around the state. My duties were as follows: hanging and focusing lights, laying power cables, setting up P.A. systems, flying cables, building stages and outdoor roof systems, high rigging tasks, plus many other production needs.

In 1994, I worked at the Roseland Theater as a production assistant, stagehand and security. I did production and setup concerts for MCA, Double Tee, Monqui Presents, and Showman. This was my first year working for the Mount Hood Festival of Jazz setting up and doing production. I worked for Mick's Will Do Crews building stages, setting up concerts and events, lighting and sound, production assistant, stagehand, and event security.

In 1993, I managed and scheduled for a local talent agency, with over 200 performers, providing acts for many clubs in the Portland metro area. In years before, I worked for many different phases of the entertainment industry with varying job tasks from a stagehand for Styx to event security.
