Beta Alpha Psi - I was recently inducted into this organization. Beta Alpha Psi gives college students the opportunity to meet and talk with Accounting professionals from the Big 5 Firms and the local ones as well. It has been a great experience for me thus far. They have put me in contact with several wonderful people from Accounting firms in Pittsburgh, Charleston, and the DC area.  Click here for the local chapter.
 

Dance Marathon - Could you imagine 24 hours of non-stop dancing? If you think you can handle it, please visit this website to find out how to get involved. Last year I participated as a member of the Morale committee. We were in charge of keeping the dancers motivated and full of energy. This year I decided to become the Executive Morale Chair for WVU's Dance Marathon. It is a wonderful experience raising money for children's cancer research. Even if you think you can't dance, I hope you will consider participating in some way. You will forever change the life of a child.

GreenHills Country Club - If you enjoy 18 holes of golf on an excellent course, you must visit Green Hills. Located right off of I-77 in Silverton, WV, Green Hills is known as the best kept golf secret in WV. I may be a little bit prejudiced becuase I spent a summer working there, but it really is a great place. I even learned how to golf!
