Free Software
Brian T. Luke, Ph.D.

I have been writing computer software for more years than I would like to admit, and I have finally decided that it is time to make it available to anyone that is interested.

Please note that these programs are absolutely FREE. They are not shareware, nor are they crippled or have an expiration date.

Since I have no intention of obtaining any revenue from these programs, I do not want to spend much time supporting them. Since my experience has shown that problems mainly occur with installation, porting, and modification, all software is distributed with the following caveats.

I have a large number of programs that I would like to give away, and I am writing more programs all the time. Therefore, I would recommend that you bookmark this page and periodically check back to see if more programs have been added. For more information on bookmarking a web page, please consult How To Store a Favorite Web Page for Rapid Retrieval.

All of the programs are divided into two major groups, since these are the only two computational platforms that I have personal access to. They are

Free Software for the Personal Computer
These are programs that run under DOS, Windows 3.1, and Windows 9x.

Free Software for AIX Platforms
These are programs that run under the AIX Operating System (e.g. the IBM RS/6000 and IBM SP2).

I hope you enjoy running these programs and that you will check back later for new additions.
