Well, you guessed it, yet another H/P group. With some notable differences...
First of all, TSR (everyone's
GOT to have a k-rad acronym) stands for Tri-State
Revolution. Obviously,
our members are all from the Tri-State area (New Jersey,
Pennslyvania, and
Delaware - USA). Although, I don't think anyone would
object to allowing
members in from anywhere... We publish (or at least plan to)
a zine called
PHYRST, (meaning to be divulged at a later date).
Secondly, we are, as
most, strongly pro-freedom-of-information. Basically, we
are big on trashing,
or dumpster-diving, when we can get the time. Also, we
strive to find and
distibute everything we can find. We exist to serve the
underground scene.
So what if you don't hack? If you are into radical political
discussions, or drawing
phat ANSI art, we'd love to have you around anyway!
Third, we are big on
the "hacker ethic." If you like to trade warez and deleting
dumb bastards' hard
drives, we should part ways here. For knowlege is power,
or tyranny in the
hands of evil. We don't like tyranny, thats why we are leet-o
hax0rz... (Yes, another
jab at AOL kiddies, I'll try to keep it to a minimum).
SO! How do I join?
Well, email me asshole! Tell me WHY, and what you think
you could offer, or
would like to learn. We are NOT spoon-feeders. I do not
consider myself that
good or have that much time on my hands. We are all
learning here. (Ex:
I know Unix, but I don't hack COSNIX... Yet.)
Shell accounts on RUFUS?
Yea, I give them out to members. There is a catch...
The network I'm on
does not condone my activities or the existence of a unix
operating system on
my computer. Keep your activities legit on my turf. I like
big, fat scholarship
checks from Uncle Sam.
Well, thats all I can
think of for now. I would like to have some sort of get
together to introduce
all newcomers to everyone else. We used to meet in the
Echleon Mall (south
jersey), but Rig moved back to Philly. Email me if you want
to meet at a 2600
meeting in Philadelphia. We'll all be there.
Happy Hacking!
