HEAVENS OUTINGS

Hmm� I initiated the 1st heavens outing due to a few reasons � hehe � 1stly it was because all of us had a lot of fun chatting with each other in IRC but yet we dunno the faces that lies behind each nick & 2ndly, SKY, the channel founder was coming back from UK for a short vacation so that adds to another good reason for meeting up. Lastly, I havent met Huggy for a long time � hehe � I guess everyone was very excited then because that was our very 1st #heavens outing. We met at Raffles City just outside BodyShop. I din expect it to be so crowded there then � think I chose the wrong meeting place � hehe � due to the fact that we have never seen each other b4 so it was rather difficult to identify each other at such a crowded place � but nevertheless � we managed to �. hehe � thereafter we proceeded to Marina Sq for dinner � hiaks hiaks � dinner at Ponderosa �. hehe �. All of us were rather quiet COZ that was our 1st time mah �. haha �. But the dinner was a pleasant one because we had a nice time chatting with each other over dinner although we din manage to chat with everyone � after dinner, Huggy did 2 things which made all of us feel bad and touched � hehe � we felt touched because she got all of us a scented candle and she made us feel BAD by treating us all to dinner!!! � but we really appreciate it � from the bottom of our hearts �. once again � thanx huggy!

3rd Heavens outing (Coffee at Coffee Bean - Boat Quay & Sentosa / 07 February 1998)

Heart was the organizer for this outing and I helped him contact the heaveners. We often discuss about the places to go and think we killed a lot of our brain cells that time. This outing was split into 2 sessions .. hehe .. coz I was hoping that as many ppl would turn up as possible for this outing but some of them couldn�t make it during the day and some couldn�t make it at nite � as for those who r free the whole day � hiak hiak � no choice both session also must turn up � haha � We went for coffee at Coffee Bean but this time the venue is different, at Boat Quay & as usual we sat there chatting and joking � hehe � this is the 1st time OdieAl join us for our outing. During the coffee session, he keep �entertaining� us with his jokes, etc � think all of us had fun listening to him tok � after coffee, tankee left to meet his friends and we headed to WTC to meet tomo, helloyou and huggy. OdieAl too, left us for his friends at WTC. We decided to go for dinner 1st and during dinner, some of them shared their jokes with us. After dinner, delshine�s IRC friend, Edwin left and we went to take a bus into Sentosa. When we went in, it was rather late and there weren�t much things to see except for the musical fountain � hehe � they had the laser show there. After some time the laser show was getting boring so we left and sat at Burger King. There we had a round of self-introduction which we never had for the past 2 outings. Though the self-intro session was rather short but it was an interesting one. Moreover, it really allowed us to get to know each other better. As the saying goes, good things never last. Just as we were having a good chatting session, it was getting late so we had to leave. Although, we din go sight-seeing in Sentosa, I guess all of us felt it was a very nice trip in there right? � at least it is something different from those coffee, dinner, movie thing!

4th Heavens outing (Dinner at Sizzler / 04 April 1998)

5th Heavens outing (Movie - Amistad, Coffee at Coffee Bean - Scotts & Dinner at Far East / 13 April 1998)

Woolala � it was supposed to be a MINI outing but we had about 9 heaveners turning up � hehe � in the noon, only 4 of us met up for lunch and a show - Amistad and they are SKY, OdieAl, lynsie and ME myself � keke � During lunch, I was laffing non-stop all because of OdieAl � hehe � nearly laff until can�t eat. The show, wasn�t too bad actually but it was rather dry and boring at the start till some of us nearly fell asleep. As it was still too early to meet the rest, we went to delifrance to catch a bite 1st . Time to go meet the rest at coffee bean! � as usual � people were late � hehe � when all of them were there, we had a good time chatting with one another. Well, we chat about anything and everything under the sun. But OdieAl�s presence played a big part because without him, we wouldn�t have so much fun chatting � haha � hungry?? � ok we went to far east plaza to dine � again � eating with OdieAl takes a lot of skill which many of us have yet to master � haha � he just can�t seem to make us stop laffing!! But all of us had a pleasant day together.

6th Heavens outing ( Coffee at Coffeebean and Tea Leaf -Scotts / 16 May 1998)

Well�this outing was a short one�the heaveners met for coffeebean at Scotts�.(heehee�.seemed to have become the usual meeting place for #heavens outing�kekeke)�We met outside Esprit shop�but as usual�heehee�.I was late again�kekeke�As a result, I never get to meet Doreamon that day�he went off before we could settle down for a nice cup of coffee�heehee�Huggy, Calen and jessamine called to say that they will meet us later�thus, Activee, greenhorn, CancerianGal, heartbreakkk, wayne and I went ahead for coffee first. However, I am not sure what the reason was, everyone was kind of quiet that day�Guess all of us were not in a good mood huh? Heehee�The only person who was hyper-active that night was none other than Miss Activee�heehee�really lived up to her "Activee" nick�heehee�The few of us stayed at Coffeebean for quite sometime�and just when we are about to leave Coffeebean, Huggy, Calen and Jessamine arrived. After a short short chat with the three of them�each of us went our separate ways�Heartbreakkkk rushed home to watch his soccer, Huggy, Calen and jessamine went home�I was not sure where wayne went after the coffee session though�.heehee�But, Activee, greenhorn, CancerianGal and I went to "jalan" for awhile�Actually I was the one who made them shop for a card with me�.heehee�I even made greenhorn and CancerianGal take the NeoPrint stickers with me..heehee�Thanks to the few of you for accompanying me !!!! 7th Heavens outing (Dinner at Wisma and Chaplins / 6 June 1998)

Originally this outing was initated by heart but in the end I have no idea how come I became the person in charge. This outing was different from the usual ones coz it was our first 'nightspot' outing. Before we went pubbing we had our dinner at Wisma Foodcourt. Initally we are suspose to meet heart at Bodyshock as they have free flow of beer. However we changed the place to Wong San coz Huggy will be meeting her friends there later so we might as well follow her there. A slight problem arose as there was a minimum age for the gals and guys and poor tenshi cannot go in coz she is a few months underage..hehe. Hence we decided to change our destination to Chaplins at Holland Village. At first the place was not very crowded coz the night is still young...but later when the crowd came...the whole place was like an oven....the worst part is that they do not switch on the air con. Everyone was sweating like mad (maybe except Odieal..hehe) ....moreover plus the dancing it was worse. After that day I am rather impressed by tenshi...she and activee can dance non stop ...hehe... the wonder she has a nick as mambo queen..hehe (Zouk is her favourite place). By the end of the day, both of them were like they just had a shower...hehe. After Chaplins we went to 7-11 for a quick drink and went back around 2+ am (Written by S-K-Y)

8th Heavens outing (BBQ at East Coast Park/ 19 June 1998)

9th Heavens outing (Dinner at Park Mall / 9 July 1998)

The outing was specially organised for subin, chowey and lynise as three of them will be going back to Perth, Australia to continue their studies. Hence we decided to meet up before they go off. Initially we planned to have the Mongolian Buffet dinner at Park Mall but later we realised that it cost $28++. It was rather steep for most of us, moreover most of us were unemployed at the moment. We decided to have a Japanese meal instead. It was not bad and the price was quite reasonable. As usual we chat during the meal and with Odieal and Lynise the lethal combination, it was even worse.. hehe. many of us were kana suaned by Odieal (especially Lynise) but it was just for the fun of it. After the meal we went to Dome for coffee/tea and continue more conversation. At about 10+ we went home as we cannot decide where to go after that. I think zzz is the best thing to do especially for those who are following the World Cup. Before we left we wished subin, chowey and lynise bon voyage and all the best in their studies aboard.
