ABOUT THE LETTERS | ||||||||||||
Tunbridge VT, Jun Sister Synthia I ?? I may address you after so long a silence on your part. I almost consider it a useless attempt to write and think of getting an answer, but the present loneliness of our situation presents the the ?? to me that corrispondence with friend would change our thoughts from ourselves and our gloomy prospects. Our children are well but my health is very poor. I have a little girl ten weeks old bu the limits of a letter at this time will not permit me to write particulars. I have been reduced very low this spring and the Neurolgia afflicts me all the time. Wm health is poor but he works hard and we have kept our family together so far but I fear we shall be obliged to separate them, if there is not some change for the better soon. The thought is like death to me and I feel the conviction strong that they will be left Metherless before many years unless there is some change in my health. I want you or some of your family write as soon as you receive this and let us know whether we have any friends or not. M G Baldwin Envelope addressed Mrs Synthia H Baldwin Potsdam St Lawrence Co NY |
