this is a film that started out just as this buzz in my head and ended up becoming an autobiography of sorts, an objective documentary of sleep paralysis, and a very loose interpretation of kafka's metamorphosis |  |
turning all the symbolism completely backwards and making the cockroach's exoskeleton a prison of grief and pain instead of one of filth and a life ill-lived. i plan to finish this short some time in the late spring of 99 and it should be around 20min-half hour, black and white mostly, shot on vhs stock. right now we have a finished script and most of the foley done and sketches of the visuals. most of the casting has been finished and will be listed here as soon as all the release work is done with the actors. and some time in the near future i'll try to have a list of credits and maybe an ram video clip.
