The girls' basketball team have had an incredible season. With a record of 13-6, the girls have a lot to celebrate. This year, the three captains that lead the successful campaign are seniors Alicia McGinty, Sara Camilli, and Lauren Garber. Influential contributors are McGinty, Camilli, sophomore Lindsay O’Connell, and juniors Nicole Scardino and Kim Thomas.

The lady 'Skins have posted some impressive statistics so far this season. McGinty averages 16.4 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 assists per game. O’Connell averages 12.4 points and 7 rebounds per game.

Scardino averages 3 steal per game. Camilli averages 3 steals per game and is the best defensive player.
Recent games that the girls won were against C.B. West with a score of 50 to 48 and Truman with a score of 66- 45.

“This is a courageous team with much character and great team play," head coach Angie Scarengelli said.
"They play with a lot of heart and never give up. They are a great bunch of kids and I love coaching them.”

The girls have great senior leadership, good defensive playing, and a lot of heart. All of these have contributed to the success of their season.

"The team is full of hard working girls," McGinty said. " The team learns very fast, and continues to learn."
The team looks to continue their winning ways as they head into the District One Playoffs on Saturday, Feb. 17.
