Welcome to Sir Zamboogle's keep. I am Mahn the house steward. I'm afraid the keep is still under heavy construction. The dust and debris is simply everywhere. Furthermore the Master, his mistress, and their noble comrades are all on expedition at the moment. If you return at a future date, I can promise you a more fitting reception.

Oh. You are not acquainted with Sir Zamboogle? Well he is one of the greatest Elven warriors of our age. The heroics he has performed for our realm are truly remarkable. Of course, he could never have done it without the help of his most amazing companions, and I suppose, his mistress....

What is it you say? You think you saw a Drow on the grounds? Oh yes, I believe you. Its just that... In general, Zamboogle tends to be most tolerant of other races. Well, yes, I understand the Drow would in most circumstances be viewed as an enemy, I am an Elf after all. But you see, in carrying out their most recent campaign against the Drow Empire, my masters made some unusual allies. And then there's Zamboogle's mistress, the Most Reverend Nedelene. Yes that's right, she is a Drow, a Drow priestess. You probably saw one of her guards.

Actually, this most unusual alliance is not too surprising. Zamboogle's closest friend, Spooky, is an Orc after all. Ha! don't underestimate Spooky for a second. He may be an Orc, but he is also quite intelligent. He is an extremely powerful magician. He is also just as heroic and principled as the others.

The other's. Well X is quite Human. Yes, the name is strange indeed. He doesn't talk much about his past, before he met the others. Just between you and me, I suspect his early career may have been a bit shady. But, I'll also say that he's probably the most reliable man you could ever have fighting beside you.

And then there's Tigger. He's a bit of a wild one. No patience whatsoever. And though I know the others love him like as a brother, his foibles and follies are a popular topic of conversation when he is absent. He's a good man though. Besides being a fierce fighter he is also an accomplished sorcerer and a healer. Yes, the best healer in these parts. Have you heard of the Red Death. Yes, well he found the cure. It is said he can even bring men back from death. Though we Elves don't normally approve of such practices, it is still a remarkable feat.
