President of Deceivers

Zamboogle and his companions will gladly reward any man who can provide information leading to the banishment of Malphas the sum of 1000 Gold Crowns. Any information pertaining to Malphas that does not lead to his banishment will also be rewarded with appropriate compensation.

WARNING: If you do identify Malphas or any of his minions, DO NOT attempt to confront them yourself. Malphas is a very powerful demon and is extremely dangerous.

Malphas can appear in many different guises. He can mimic the form of any of the bipedal races and of either gender. He can appear young or old, weak or strong. He may also assume the insubstantial form of a large crow.

He is a master in many arts and trades and can speak and read in any language. He does not wear armor but he is a capable swordsman. He is a master of the College of Celestial Magics.

He has been seen with two lesser devils also disguised as mortals. They were last known to be using the names Sei and Ara. They should also be considered extremely dangerous.

If you have any information that may lead to Malphus' banishment back to the 7th plane of Hell, please notify us immediately. We have extensive experience in the removal of powerful demons and are particularly familiar with The President of Deceivers.

Just in case there's some real Third Edition Dragonquesters out there I better share some Malphas source info with you.

When TSR got the rights to DQ from SPI they were in heavy trouble with the press because AD&D was turning thousands of innocent children into devil worshiping psycho-killers. So they edited out all the politically incorrect sections that were published in Dragonquest's first two editions. Perhaps by the end of this web project I can get all those parts on the net so you 3rd Edition people can have the official corrupt version of the game.

This is from the 2nd edition, chapter 47 - The College of Greater Summonings.
