"American or World Network of Scientific Brains
between the North & the South"

Introduction

·       I am interested in working with a main biopharmaceutical or medical equipment company and/or with a general or global science or health science GO or NGO scientific institution,

·       To design a research project in this era of “regionalization” & “globalization” of science & technology, to start the building of an “American and/or World Network of Scientific Brains”

In the last 30 years, the carrying out of multinational clinical trials, public health & biomedical investigations designed by USA & European countries have been common using developing countries. They have begun collecting data through mail & meetings, and ended by collecting them through web sites in the 90’s.

The Human Genome Project has utilized web sites to collect data from multinational laboratory research between USA and European countries. In the 90’s also began a technological collaboration between the  US & Russian through Internet in the translation of IBM software to even more developed Apple compatible, as well as preparation of lessons for Super Courses that are being posted in Internet.

Any research in any abstract, natural, social or technological science, involves a process of production of new information. The high-quality scientific research and growth of scientific & technological knowledge through an on-line international collaboration, is one top intellectual activity that could be also designed, carried out, monitored, analyzed & evaluated, using the Internet & high-tech communications, through regional and/or global networks, without the permanent physical presence needed before them.

Hypothesis

The hypothesis is to promote the work of “virtual scientific teams” through Internet & other high-tech communication of the best scientists & engineers in the less advanced countries (even in Germany & Japan). They would collaborate in the top research of USA & other scientific potencies, without abandoning their fatherland and national prioritized research problems. However, they would receive enough information, experience & financing aid for their local projects, as well as a stimulating personal grants for their  “scientific cooperation”, to improve their original working & living environments to stay at home.

Objective

To complement the standard ways of scientific collaboration, with a new way in most of the abstract, concrete & technological sciences of today. The conditions are already created. As in physics, in biomedical & health sciences, exist the US-international PubMed data base & e-biomed projects that can expand much more their possibilities.

Expected Results

This duality to allow simultaneous high level research in local & in regional/global problems, will strengthen as never before the scientific & technological manpower of most southern countries & northern ones too; accomplishing many more effective solutions at all levels; and diminishing the weakening emigration disorders in the native countries, and the immigration trans-cultural growing difficulties that are facing the advanced countries, specially USA & most European countries today.

Design

I have an “Integration Science Program for General/Global Medicine, Nursing, Technology & Public Health”, with 13 research projects & education research projects, posted in Internet in the site as follows: www.fortunecity.com/skyscraper/systems/1000/website1.html.

Any of these projects could begin at once with at least 1-2 virtual teams through Internet & high-tech communication, centered in Havana and/or overseas;

A pilot study of this Brain Trust research project could be designed, carried out & evaluated at once, monitoring & evaluating only one research project or training research project of my “Integration Science Program” mentioned above.
