{Needful Note: RJS having been active faculty & researcher for 48 consecutive-years of Havana University School of Medicine class 1962-9, due to critical, original thinking & political troubles, was separated from CNIC by Premier Fidel Castro in 1970, and later was separated from three national research centers more (IDS, INOR, CIC), and punished to work in community polyclinics and in Nicaragua 1988-90. He was former member of the communist youth 1962-65; 1967-69 and party 1992-2002, but was separated for denouncing abuses, excesses and injustices of party leaders at all levels. Many of his articles were rejected by Cuban journals censorship. He could not categorize as adjunct professor in 1970, 1976 & 1979, being Cuban pathfinder of clinical research, trials & epidemiology's trainings & manuals; & could not defend his Ph.D. degree thesis: Cuba's cancer prevention research unified scenarios. He could not become full professor in 1987, emeritus professor in 1992 & member of the NAS as his disciples did. He could not have any university privilege as faculty --public recognition, plus-wage for teachings, paid clerkship, fellowship, exchange & Sabbath year abroad, acquire foreign books, car/gas, housing, etc. In 1988 he claimed these iniquities in vain to the Brigadier Fernando Vecino Alegret, Minister of Higher Education [who was Cuban arm of communist infiltration of US & other Western Universities (Later RJS knew through internet that FVA had been accused of torturing 19 USAF pilots in Viet Nam in the late 1960s)]. RJS was punished in 2002 for dissenting all his life from the party policy & forbidden his medical exchanges paid from abroad. He had to retire as M.D. in 2005 to do independent research, teachings, consultancy & travel overseas again after government's liberation in 2010. Now, he is living and working freely in the US.}}

{Most scientific results, academic courses & Ph.D. thesis from 1969-1993, were very critical to push forward science, education & health policies in Cuban centers & spheres. Hence, they were presented before Cuban editorial authorities, but the censorship restricted their publication even in Cuban journals in Spanish. The synthesis of all my studies & works is the Integration Science Program. With the partial opening my scientific results & ideas began to be published in English to the world}
