have always admired the academic excellence of young people especially the budding scientists whom I considered as a rare breed of catalysts.

Through the years, this king of excellence is being associated with a majority of the PSHS graduates.

It is therefore my pride and pleasure to send my warmest greetings to Batch '93 of the Philippine Science High School-Diliman Campus for the publication of this yearbook which chromicles the fondest memories and academic life spent in the country's most prestigious science high school.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) remains ever supportive and proud of the PSHS graduates. As "Scholars of the Nation," try to live up to the challenges that your education presents, coupled with work ethics and values from which stem your social, professional and national responsibilities.
