The programs on this website were created using Microsoft Visual Basic 6, and you will need
the VB6 runtime files to run the programs. The runtime files are not
included with any of the products on this website, because the runtime package is large and it would be unnecessary to download it with each program. Many programs also use this package, so you may already have the package installed.
If you are unsure if you have the runtime or not, please search for the file MSVBVM60.DLL on your hard drive. To do this:
- Click on the Start button
- Point to Find
- Select Files or Folders...
- Enter MSVBVM60.DLL in the Named box
- If you have Internet Explorer 4 installed, or if you have Windows 98, select Local Hard Drives.
If you don't have Internet Explorer 4 installed, select the drive where Windows is installed. This is
highly likely to be drive C:
If you see the appear in the list, then you have this file on your computer and there is no need for you to download it. If you do not see the file, you must download the Runtime Package before you can run any of
the products on this website. You'll also need an 'unzipping' program to decompress the Runtime Package. If you don't have one of these, use the program WinZip to open the Runtime Package file. You must extract it to
your \Windows\System folder. Details of how to do this are in the WinZip help file, accessible by going into WinZip and pressing the 'F1' key.
Download the Runtime Package [SP3] Please
note, the runtime package is held on a differenet UK server. There is a miniscule chance that it may not be available at this time, so do not worry if you cannot access the package, but you are able still to access this
website. If this problem persists, please email me. |
