Rates


CyberMuse creates affordable, professional Web sites and we work with you to keep the cost of your business or personal Web site within your budget!

CyberMuse Web Design has created a very simple pricing structure. As of June 1999 I will be charging a flat rate of $20.00 an hour. This rate includes the following:
  • Web page design
  • Scanning images
  • Creating custom graphics (sorry, no animations yet)
  • Transferring your Web site to the Web Server of your choice
  • Testing your Web site
  • Registering your site with search engines
  • Updating your Web site
  • General Internet consulting

I have found that charging an hourly fee for my services is a better, simpler method of pricing for my clients than using a separate price for each service that I provide. One of the benefits is that I only charge you for the time I spend working on your site. In other words, if you want a basic site without custom graphics, the price of your Web site can be very inexpensive. I realize that you may want a price estimate for a completed Web site before you make any decisions, and I am happy to provide you with a free estimate. You should probably budget at least $150.00-$250.00 for a typical small business Web site consisting of a main page, a page describing your company, a page describing your products/services, and a links page.

CyberMuse Web Design requires the first hour to be paid in advance. This $20.00 will serve as a set-up fee and will be deducted from your first invoice. Since I create a Web site for you based on the information that you provide, and I will work with you until you are satisfied with your Web site, this fee is non-refundable.

I offer a 10% discount on the cost of your Web site if I include an acknowledgment at the bottom of your Home Page (an example is located on the bottom of this page). I ask that you not alter or delete this line for a minimum of six months after your Web site is completed. This discount may not be available for all Web sites created.

CyberMuse Web Design accepts payments by money order or cash. Sorry, no checks or credit cards yet.

Invoices from CyberMuse Web Design will be sent upon completion of small projects. Invoicing for larger Web sites will be divided into several parts for your convenience. Payments are due within twenty days.

Since I cater to smaller clients, I will give you ideas on how to keep your costs down. For example, if you wanted to include a thousand word description about your company in your Web site, you could provide CyberMuse Web Design with a text file of this document. Since I will only be incorporating it into your Web page and will not have to type or proof-read the document, this will save you money.
