A little bit about me

I just realized there is not a page on here to tell anything about me. My name is Steve. You may know me as either Shark or Bart (I use both names online). I am 29 years old. I live in Beaumont, Texas (but I do spend a lot of time in the Bay Area California.) I am a student at Lamar University here in Beaumont. I think I am a computer science major. On paper, I might still be a social work or communication major, not sure anymore..I dont keep up with that kind of stuff. I am not married, I do not have any kids. I have been an internet user for a while now. (I know I am in my third year online). This is about the 10th totally different version of my homepage since my first one in Feb. '97. That page (on another, now defunct server) got over 6000 hits. I was born on Feb. 12, 1972 in Sasabo, Japan (no, I am not Japanese, my dad was in the navy and was stationed over there). I have lived several different places including San Diego, California Chicago, Illinois and Norfolk, Virginia just to name a few. I went to more schools than I can remember. (maybe one day I will list them all on here if I can remember all the schools.) I am the youngest of two children. My brother is two and a half years older than me. He lives in California and, has now made me an uncle!!!!! Mystrie was born on March 16. Go to my pictures page for a few pictures of me with her. (Please email me any advise on how to be an uncle because I have no idea.) I have always had an interest in strange and unusual things. Anything that is different will catch my attention. Natural phenomena also is very interesting to me. Also the supernatural, stuff that can not be explained. I am very much into researching history. I find it interesting to see how we, as a collective group of human beings (most of us at least), have changed over the course of time. Society is always changing and it is interesting to see what the accepted norms were during an era. I am very intrigued by the late 1960s and early 1970s. A time of true change like no other in history. Some of the stuff I like/enjoy: Old movies, the Houston Astros, modern rock, PBS, walks on the beach, sleeping late, friends, the internet, trees, talking, classic cars, clothes right out of the dryer, Tori Amos, the San Jose Sharks, Dateline NBC, classic rock, the 1960s, Berkeley California, tattoos, coffee, watching the sunset then rise, Stephen King, concerts, roller coasters Some things I don't like: Jealousy, rudeness, hate, shallow people, racism, vulgarity, people with closed minds, country music, stereotyping, being behind a slow driver, violence, fighting, people who think they know everything, crime, stealing, cheating, people who refuse to accept the truth, talking behind someone's back Wanna read some of my random thoughts/babblings??
