FreeCode.com: This page has alot of examples and help for several programming languages.

Compiler Theory and Design: Every wondered how to write a compiler? This is the BYU compiler design page. Check it out.

SAL: Structured Algorithmic Language, The complete reference to SAL (the language that the BYU compiler compiles, interesting).

Java

Java Boutique, The Ultimate Java Applet Resource: This page is a very good reference for writing Java Applets. They have a very large amount of sample source.

The Java Sun Page: Sun Microsystems developed Java. This is a link to their main Java page.

The Java Tutorial: The Sun Java Tutorial. It is very good to learn from.

Gamelan.com Java resource: This page has lots of Java examples and references.

Java SDK: Go here to download the Java Software Development Kit

JPad: This is a very nice Java IDE. I use this one the most.

JavaScript

The JavaScript Source: They have cut and paste JavaScript source.

PERL

My Perl/CGI Learning Page: Learn from the great master, me.

MIT Perl Reference: This is the MIT reference for Perl. It is a bit advanced, so be warned.

Perl2Exe: A very nice tool for people who want to learn and develop in Perl but don't have access to a UNIX of LINUX machine. Turns Perl source into Windows .exe.

CGI

The CGI Resource: A good CGI resource

The CGI Resource Index: CGI Tutorials: A list of CGI tutorials. Good for learning.

CGI Programming 101: This page contains the first 6 chapters of the book CGI Programming 101. It has all the CGI source code for the book. Also talks about Perl.

AIM: AOL Instant Messanger, my favorite messanger. Talk to me at LesUfo.

FreeZone: A very good place to look for free things. From web pages to programming help. Very nice.

Free Web Pages

FortuneCity: Offers 100 megs of space. Where my page is (for now)

Above World: Offers 25 megs of space and will virtual host (.COM, .NET, .ORG, .NU, .UK, .TO) sites for free.

Crosswinds: Offers unlimited space. But the server is slow. Also offers POP3 mail.

Geocities: Offers 15 megs of space.

FreeServers: Offers 20 meg sites and will host virtual (.COM, .NET, .ORG, .NU, .UK, .TO) sties for free.

Tripod: Offers 50 megs of space. They also let you use your own CGI scripts.

Xoom: Offers unlimited space and e-mail, also free ISP. The only drawback is that they are slow and seem to be down alot lately.

Domain Registration

YourNameFree: Will charge only $60 (US) for 2 years of domain registration, will do free web forwarding, even to free sites such as those above. Also up to 10 e-mail addresses forwarded anywhere.

Humor

The Land of Eric: The writings of Eric D. Snider, a former humor columnist/editorialist for the BYU newspaper and currently the Provo Herald.

Humor.com: Guess what this is? A large collction of jokes.

Games

Breath Savers Billiards: Play pool online. Actually pretty good.

CandyStand.com: Has many games (including the Billiards above)
