Busy as I am, I'm resorting to using other peoples' ideas a story springboards.  But then again, that's what fanfic _is_, isn't it?  In any case, someone (I unfortunately can't recall who) noted the resemblance between our favorite redhead and the title heroine of the (unfortunately) short-lived WB animated series "The Legend of Calamity Jane."  Thus was born this story.

While on a trip to the Wildey Ranch, the kids want to learn about the real Wild West.  Between QuestWorld and the Grandpa Doug's stories, they see the frontier through the eyes of one of it's most famous women.
