Ahh, so you wush to possess Shinzahou, er, I mean knowledge? Alright. But, this anime is VERY confusing. Yuuki Miaka and Hongo Yui are best friends. They both live in Tokyo. Blah, blah, blah. Miaka is sucked into Shijintenchisho (The Four Gods: Earth and Sky, or something like that ^_^). She becomes Suzaku no Miko (The Priestess os Suzaku) and has to gather the Suzaku Shichi Seishi as fast as possibly to save Konan-koku from Kutou-koku. But, it's not easy being a miko. Not when the Seiryuu Shichi Seishi are trying to kill you...
Each country has a Guardian God, who protects the country. In the south, Konan-koku, you have Suzaku. The good guys. Suzaku is a chicken. Some people say it's Pheonix. But I think it's just ugly. In the East, Kutou-koku, you have Seiryuu. The bad guys. Seiryuu is a blue Dragon. To the north, Hokkan-koku, you have Genbu. Some say it's a turtle, some a snake. To me, it looks like a snake screwing a turtle. And to the west, Sairou-koku, you have Byakko (my favorite). Byakko is white tiger. Genbu was summoned 200 years ago. And only two of The Genbu Shichi Seishi are still around, but, they're ghosts. Byakko was summoned 90 years ago. Three of the Byakko Shichi Seishi are still alive: Tatara, Tokaki and Subaru. Tokaki is a *cough* hentai. Subaru, his wife (I don't know, personally, I wouldn't marry him.), put a time spell put on Tatara so he would be young and able to protect the Shinzahou. I know NOTHING about the Genbu Shichi Seishi.
