3. H-R Song - The following
is a (crap) poem written by me on the Hersprung Russell diagram. For those who don't know
what H-R diagram, it is a diagram made by Hertsprung and Russell which classifies stars
according to their luminosity, absolute magnitude and spectral class. It tells us where
stars are placed during various stages of evolution.
Stars, Stars everywhere White dwarfs and black dwarfs on the left Giants and monters on the right Stars, stars everywhere Going up the wavy life with changing brightness I notice that my brothers and sisters are now grown up into giants and are glowing with pride I wish I become a giant soon then I see my big brother suddenly on the left and I am surprised to find that he is all black ..................and shrunk I am shocked but happy that it will be............... millions of years before I turn into a giant. Stars, stars everywhere........ |
