Profile: Among the few Decepticons who survived the conclusion of the Great War, Cyclonus would have rather fought to the bitter end rather than integrate into the Maximals' idea of Cybertronic society.  Following Galvatron's destruction, Cyclonus spent some time searching the galaxy for Decepticons who had left Cybertron during the war and attempted to reunite them into a new fighting force, but this plan never saw fruition.  Eventually he was captured and forcibly downsized by the Maximals, but he later escaped, hard-wiring an experimental transwarp drive into his circuitry before escaping Cybertron.  He eventually made his way to prehistoric Earth where he was the first Transformer to discover the transmetal driver, a Vok artifact that was embedded within the Earth.  After it transformed his body into the Transmetal 2 form, he discarded it, later to be discovered by Predacon leader Megatron.

Cyclonus is a hardened, stoic warrior whose combat ability has not diminished over the centuries.  He has earned a reputation as an emotionless warrior, although on a personal level he is witty and charming, exhibiting a bit of an arrogant streak.  He has a strong sense of duty, and has always believed strongly that warriors should face their end in battle--perhaps even more so since the loss of Galvatron.  Cyclonus rarely swears fealty to anyone, but once he has professed his devotion to a cause he will devote every drop of fuel to carrying it out.  His strong sense of honor in no way negates his deadly prowess on the battlefield.

Abilities:  In his gigantic bat form, Cyclonus can fly at speeds of 90 mph almost indefinitely, and excels in using the wind currents to his advantage.  He is a master at the art of three-dimensional aerial combat.  His fangs can inject an oxidation compound that can rust his victims from the inside out.  His talons are capable of serrating a 10 foot-thick slab of iridium-steel, which become his hands in robot mode. In this form, he possesses considerable strength, and also wields two arm-mounted scythes capable of impaling a Maximal at ten paces.  His torso-mounted cyber-claws can extend to twice their usual length; rarely is an enemy prepared to defend himself at close quarters from Cyclonus' four attacking limbs.  His talons and claws can also inject the oxidation compound into his victims.  As a Transmetal 2, Cyclonus possesses an accelerated automatic repair system and a "seventh sense" that grants him limited clairvoyance.

Weaknesses:  Although Cyclonus is not as durable or powerful as he was in his original form, he more than makes up for this with his newfound speed and agility.  He is not known to have any significant weaknesses.
