Genesis - the beginning of life - well that's the biblical - but for me it all began over 25 years ago with the arrival of Foxtrot - "Watcher of the Skies" and "Supper's Ready" - blast your mind !!!!

12" Vinyl was where it started - reproduced and updated on CD by Steve !!!! Go to Steve Hackett's home page and take a look - - Foxtrot was not the first but it is one of the best featuring the original band -

	*Peter Gabriel - left in '74 - major solo career followed*
	*Phil Collins - stayed 'til '96 - major solo career + Brand X and sessions*
	*Steve Hackett - stayed 'til '76 - good solo career - check out Please Don't Touch, Spectral Mornings,Momentum and Revisited.*
	*Tony Banks - still there - abortive solo career - see A Curious Feeling*
	*Mike Rutherford - still there - abortive solo career (Smallcreeps Day) made good with Mike and the Mechanics (Miracle ?!)*

What about Anthony Phillips - went solo - did some good albums and some not so good - the track Bleak House is OK - Tarka bears listening to.
