Dagenham and Redbridge are situated between the A12 and A13 to the West of the City of London. This is Dagenham's ninth career season in the top flight, and their first since 1995/6, their return was signaled by the winning of the Isthmian League last season.
Their return to the premier non-league competition has been very impressive and as at 16 March 2001, Dagenham are placed in 4th position, and it could of been higher if they had not had a slump in form between January and February.
Dagenhams top win so far this season has been an impressive 6-1 victory against Hednesford Town and also noticeable victories against Yeovil Town at Yeovil not a bad feat. On the other hand the biggest defeat this season has been a 3-0 defeat at Northwich Victoria, one also must mention the high scorer draw against Forest Green Rovers at 4-4 a good game.
Attendances at Dagenham have been steady with a high of 1,686 and low of 877 to make an average of 1,238.
