Your finished model should look something like this:
Notice how the shadows and highlights bring up the pecks and gives the impression there is a belly button.
The same applies for the back of the body with the effect of muscles in the back and hair detail. Can you see any of those seams that you know are there?
And in the face detail.
See how the feet now look like they individual toes, even though they were modelled like a sock.
