Spider-Man & Chun-Li
During a science demonstration, Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, giving him extraordinary agility, strength and a ?Spider-Sense? that alerts him to oncoming danger. Though he used his new abilities for profit at first, Spider-Man soon matured and became a crime-fighter. He uses specially-made ?web fluid? as both a means of swinging from building to building and to capture criminals. Now a newspaper photographer, Spider-Man is always the first to a crime scene, and Peter Parker is always the first with photos of the perpetrators.
CHUN-LI
An agent from Interpol, Chun-Li has been investigating the criminal organization Shadowloo through the Street Fighter and Alpha worldwide fighting tournaments. For years she has tracked down Shadowloo?s leader M. Bison, both to bring his empire to an end and avenge the murder of her father, who was killed investigating Bison when Chun-Li was a child. Years of training has given her incredible agility and a kick feared around the world? the ?Lightning Kick? which pummels her opponent with dozens of kicks in mere seconds. Though a tough fighter and dedicated policewoman, Chun-Li does hope to return to a normal life someday.
STORY
Our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is investigating a series of odd museum robberies... millions of dollars? worth of displays are left alone, with only select pieces being stolen. When Spider-Man tries to stop a robbery in progress, he runs across someone else investigating the same crime... Chun-Li from the Capcom Universe. She had followed a number of M. Bison?s thugs into the Marvel Universe in the hopes that they would lead her to the madman.
Though she was expecting to gain the aid of the X-Men (who she had met earlier when Apocalypse first broke the barrier between the Marvel and Capcom Universes), Chun-Li is more than willing to team up with the wall-crawler, whose newspaper ties could only make the investigation easier. As the two dig deeper, they find that the stolen museum property all consists of ancient relics of untapped power... and they find Onslaught?s minions closing in on them.
