Calton Hill, on the east end of downtown Edinburgh.

Almost opposite the Rock and Edinburgh Castle.     The city Observatory, Nelson's Monument, and the National Monument, an unfinished replica of the Parthenon, sit atop the hill.    The climb to the top gives a beautiful view of the city and the Firth of Forth.
