Kennedy Space Center & STS-95
October 1998
I took these images using infared black and & white film. The film picks up not only the visible spectrum that we see, but also the infared portion. Sky and water appear dark, while grass and foliage appear white.
I hadn't used infared film in a long time, and I didn't know exactly what to expect, but I got some great advice on how to shoot it from Richard Marin, a professional photographer whose done some stunning infared work.
Here are my best images.
