"So, you're the Spacer who went and set those slaves free?"

    "No," I'm just a passenger from their ship.

    "Sure you are," she says, sarcastically.  You can tell that she doesn't believe you.

    "Or maybe you're just one of our slaves," she says.  You realize that you're in trouble.  You try to run, but she shoots you with a white blast of energy from her laser pistol.  Your legs go limp under you, and you fall to the floor, stunned into unconsciousness.
 

    You wake up what must be hours or days later.  You're inside the green force field you remember setting the slaves free from.  You can see out of a window and you see stars flying by.  Then, you see a ship that doesn't look like anything from the Union.

    Pirates are shouting as they try to repair damage to their ship:

    "There's no way we can stand up agains the Tal'adaar'aans out there!  That battle cruiser is too strong!"

    "We should never have stolen their ship!"

    You see the Tal'adaar'aan battle cruiser through the window.  It turns toward the pirate ship and shoots out three glowing orange torpedos.  When they hit, the entire ship explodes.  The Tal'adaar'aans will never know that they killed an innocent Spacer when they blew up Lothair's stolen ship.
