Son of Random and Vialle.  Grand-son of Oberon.

Martin was conceived by the romance between Random and a princess from Rebma.  Right after he was born, Random abandoned them.  The princess comitted sucide and queen Moire proclaimed a death sentence of Random should he ever return.

Martin then grew up in the courts of Rebma.  He walked the Pattern at an early age and set out to discover the world for himself.  The first relative he looked up was Benedict, who taught him basic survival skills.  When they parted, they kept an infrequent contact.

Somehow, he was tricked by Brand to be stabbed over the Primal Pattern.  He survived and kept a wariness of the family.  A few years, Random sought him out and brought him to Amber.

He kept a quiet profile since his return.  The others hardly know him.
