| This is a webpage concerning the effort of the Cowichan Valley Amateur Radio Society (CVARS) and the Cowichan Secondary School (CSS) in Duncan, BC to complete a full pass contact with the International Space Station. This contact will allow local students to directly ask questions of the astronauts on the ISS.
The event has moved to a new time! It will now happen on Feburary 17, 2003 at CSS. This has given the students more time to think over the questions that they want to ask the astronauts. The names of the people who are going to talk to the astronauts will be added onto the next update of the site (it will not take as long for that one compared to how long it took to put this one up!). Pictures will be put up of the event after the event takes place. The CSS Band will be playing a few space-themed songs as well as the Canadian and Russian national anthems. |
