The completed cruiser. |
Aft view of the completed cruiser. |
The bridge celing pannel removed. Notice the door in the corner. If
mini-figs could walk they could go through that door and walk down a short
corridor to the docking bay. |
Aft view with the bay doors open and the top pannel removed to let
light in. |
The initial base complete with one brick layer of the internal walls.
Bay doors are in the open position. You can clearly see the ground skiffs
in their uncompleted docking ports. Attached to the back of the two side
skiffs are the ZC-73 "Panther" walkers. You can also see the bridge viewscreen
and the various bridge stations. From left to right: Ops, Tactical, Helm,
and Force (fighters, bombers, and ground squad) coordination. In the middle
is the Command Chair with the Admiral seated. |
Front view of the same construction phase. You can easily make out
two flight groups of FL-430 "Fang" fighters.
The green pillars are only to hold the top piece of the bay doors in place
and are not part of the finished model. |
First deck walls completed. This is the orientation that the "Fang"
fighters use in the completed model. |
Under side picture at the construction phase shown at right. The ship
is leaning slightly forward on the gray bin. This is fundamentally the
same as the completed model except for the main guns and smaller weapon
nodes on the sides mirroring the top of the completed model. |
Second deck complete with one brick layer walls. You can see the NX-214
"Decapitator" bombers in their uncompleted ports. You can also see the
top two flight groups of "Fang" fighters. This is the orientation they
use in the completed model. |
Front view of the second deck without the craft in their ports. |
Second deck walls complete. Engines are now attached, as is the bay
door top piece. |
