7/24/02: Sumire's Anime Garage Sale I'm cleaning out my apartment.
The original mission of this page, created in the fall of 1997, was to share GW magazine illustrations that had never been collected and reprinted in artbook form. Since then, a number of new artbooks have been published in Japan, rendering this page mostly obsolete. Furthermore, since GW is finally finished, it has dropped from the radar of most magazines, and so I haven't had any new pictures to put up since May of 1998.
all this, I'm leaving this page up since the pictures are pretty. As always, a
indicates pictures I particularly like. Now, on with the show!

These pictures, scanned from artbooks, are contrary to the purpose of this page, but they're nice, so what the hell.
I'm really not interested in Gundam Wing anymore (ironic, since it's airing in the US now, which was unimaginable three years ago), so I'm putting up this FAQ.

3/12/00Frequently Asked Questions:
- Q: Where did you get these pictures?
- A: I scanned them from magazines like Animedia and Anime V that I bought when I was an exchange student in Japan in 1996 (when Gundam Wing was first airing on Japanese TV.)
- Q: Where can I get my own copies of these pictures?
- A: You probably can't, unless you start combing secondhand Japanese bookstores for anime magazines published between Fall 1995 and May 1998. That's why I put them up on the internet.
- Q: Can I use some of these pictures on my own web page?
- A: Yeah, sure, go ahead already.
- Q: How come you don't have any mecha pictures?
- A: None of my magazines had any semi-obscure illustrations of the mecha.
