Avantra VHS - Designing, Aligning, Calibrating, and testing of the Lens Barrel Tool. The Lens Barrel Tool aligns a lens barrel (consists of 2 aspheric lenses) to the Laser Diode Module (LDM) and at the image or focal plane a BeamScan head measures the spot width.
Phoenix I, II - Currently working on the Spin Motor Fixture, Spot Generating Module Fixture, and Carriage Fixture. The function of the Spin Motor Fixture is to measure dynamic astigmatism from an elliptical mirror spinning at 36K and 68K rpm. Responsibilities involve aligning and calibrating the optical system and applying a glass plate tilt at a certain angle to nullify the optical system inherent astigmatism prior to measuring the spin mirror astigmatism. The detecting devices used are Photon's BeamScan detection system and a photomultiplier tube (PMT). A mask with pair of 2.5 micron slits roughly perpendicular to each other scan the beam at the image plane to generate a pair of beam profile.
