SOC are one of Australia's most dynamic rock acts yet. SOC have been compared to every one from the Violent Femmes to Bob Dylan and even to the Sex Pistols. The driving, melodic, acoustic steel string guitar and vocals from Rod Rice, enhanced by the snare drum with brush's and ride cymbal from Garry King, will blow you away time after time.
SOME SOC HISTORY
SOC started playing live on May 24th 1998 at the Hopetoun Hotel Surry Hills, in Sydney. In that time they have played many live gigs between Sydney and Newcastle, including for universities and benefit gigs, and have made several television appearances on community tv, and with video clips played on Rage. SOC do not play live all that often, but when they do, all that attend leave with a rivetting warm feeling of cheek and fun, and an energy experience to test the best of them.
