With special thanks to: Tkae - Kid Nice - swift - Marvin - Frederic - Lorenzo & William. The a side is the song in french and the b side is the song in english. The style is that of 2unlimited (happy house???) some slight rap and classic opera songs (sung by opera singers)

Mask Attack: The Phantom of the Opera - Original House Version
The inlet in the CD says:
Some hundred years ago, a famous happened  in the Paris Opera.... A mystery never explained.. We're told , there was a ghost, called  "The Phantom of the Opera"... Still he does exist in our present time, in everybody's mind! But now he's called.... The Phantom of Techno.

I can only say that this version is titled: "The Phantom of the Opera - original house version" and its from a group called "Mask Attack".

If you really dont like house/techno etc.  there is a chance you might not like it. But also keep in mind that when you seriously try to get in to the "story" the band had in mind,  it gets a whole different dimension than  a average techno song.

But when I visited it last year they only used it after the show was finished while the audiance was leaving the theatre.

Het Nationale muziek kado 1995. All I ask of you, Laura Fygi
This CD contains 12 numbers that never before have appeared in this version on CD which is also a CD-i . The CD was given for free when you bought cd's for about 25 dollars during the "Platen 10- daagse" (ten day's to promote cd's etc.) in the Netherlands in 1995. On this cd is a kind of "jazzy" version of  "All I ask of you" by a Dutch singer called Laura Fygi. I must say I really like this version.

Metamorphosis, The Phantom of the Opera
What can I say about this CD?? It contains 14 numbers all based on the Phantom of the Opera story. The CD is filled with, I believe they call it "dance"
 The songs are called:

I also have their  cd single,

The cover looks the same as the cd cover but only with yellow eyes and letters in stead of red ones like on the cd cover.

The contence is puzzeling  since there are versions on it that do not appear on the normal cd. So if you already have the cd and like it, it would also be advisable to buy the maxi cd.

On it are four numbers:

The Phantom of the Opera - (Club Boom Boom Mix)

Phantom of the Opera - (+8 Speed Version)

Mellow Phantom - (After Party Mellow Mix)
Phantom Dub (a Very Dub Version)

The VSOP Mix, The Phantom of the Opera
Let's talk about The Vienna Phantommix by VSOP( Vienna Symphonic Orchestra Project). It features on a maxi cd. And there are two versions on it: The radioversion 3'26 and the extended version 4'54. This interpetation is someting completely different! I think it is "dance" but I really don't know for sure.
