DisAgreement #1 had interviews with Daniel Cohn-Bendit, who was a leader of the French students' demonstrations in 1968 and with Microlax, a local punk band which shared three members with DisAgreement. Microlax became later on Wounded Knee, which was a very famous hard core band (they released a 7"-EP which sold 4.000 times). The different articles were either written by hand or typed on a type-writer. It also happened that some articles were copied from other magazines. There has been a little scandal about the cover which showed two members of the police who had swastikas on their uniforms. To avoid further trouble, the Nazi signs were covered by Tipp-Ex. One may say that the first issue mostly was a political fanzine. |
