Hi All,

Below are directions to get you from there to here. I picked 3 main starting points for the different locations. Find yours or use an atlas to get you to these starting points, then follow along. I've taken these directions from a MapQuest query for each city (visit their site at http://www.mapquest.com ). Since I don't like their lack of details on lane changes and odd routings, I've modified their instructions and added some of my own. I've double-checked the Milwaukee exits, so these will get you here.

Note: There is lots of construction work in downtown for the convention center (across from the Auditorium), so the roads maybe blocked (like 6th St. and Wells St.), so you may have to go around several blocks to find parking spaces. To get you back home, just reverse your course or ask around (or keep an eye on the signs downtown to get you back on the freeway system).

Print & Rip. Take it along!!! Ain't too many gas stations to pull up and ask in downtown Milwaukee.

A) Driving in from the West (starting here with MPL/StP)

(Basically, get on I-94 East from any other city along the route and head to Milwaukee)

Start: Minneapolis, MN (at airport)
Total Distance: 337.3 miles (542.7 km)
Total Estimated Time: 6 hours, 14 minutes
(I've done it in little over 5 hours though.)

Directions

1. Take the I-94 EAST exit, exit number 58B, towards MADISON
2. Merge onto I-94 E/US-12 E
3. I-94 E/US-12 E becomes I-94 E/US-12 E/SR-95 N
4. Stay straight to go onto I-94 E
5. Go East on I-94 EAST to Wisconsin. (Cross the St. Croix River) ----- 16 miles
6. Go East on I-94 EAST passing by Eau Claire, WI. ----- 60 miles
   (Passing by Tomah it becomes I-90/I-94, then go around Madison) ----- 175 miles
7. Outside of Madison, take Exit 138A EAST to MILWAUKEE (Stay on I-94 East)
8. Go EAST on I-94 E (East-West Freeway) to MILWAUKEE ----- 77 miles
9. At the Zoo Interchange (Exit 305) STAY in the Center two lanes (I-94 E, DOWNTOWN)
10. Head EAST to Downtown (pass the new stadium & Miller Brewery) ----- 5 miles
11. Take the I-794 EAST exit, exit number 310C, stay in the SECOND right lane
12. Merge onto I-794 EAST ramp, and IMMEDIATELY exit to the right ramp
13. Take the exit, exit number 1H, towards CIVIC CENTER/J. Lowell St.
14. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp, marked as "CIVIC CENTER"
15. Turn RIGHT at the fork at the end of ramp (now heading EAST on Clybourn Ave.)
16. Go 1 block and turn LEFT onto N 6TH ST. (now going north)
17. Go 4 blocks and turn RIGHT onto W. KILBOURN AVE (going east)
18. Go 2 blocks and turn LEFT onto N 4TH ST

Major Goolsby's is on the corner. (340 W. Kilbourn Ave) (Across from the Hyatt Hotel.) Start looking for parking. (Surface lots and several ramps available in the vicinity) The Auditorium is located between 5th & 6th Streets and Kilbourn Ave. (1 block away from Major Goolsby's)

B) Driving in from the North: (From Green Bay, Port Washington, etc.)

(You should know how to get to downtown Milwaukee by nowä.)

Total Distance: 116.4 miles (187.3 km)
Total Estimated Time: 2 hours, 8 minutes

Directions

1. Merge onto WI-172 E.
2. Take the I-43 SOUTH exit towards MILWAUKEE (WI-29 E).
3. Merge onto I-43 S.
4. I-43 S becomes I-43 S/US-10 E.
5. Stay straight to go onto I-43 S.
6. Go South on I-43 SOUTH passing by Manitowoc, WI. ----- 113.9 miles
7. Becomes I-43/Hwy 57 outside of Port Washington (for a stretch)
8. Head into Downtown Milwaukee, MOVE OVER to the far left lane.
9. Exit LEFT at Exit 73A to Hwy 145 EAST (4th St./Broadway Exit)
   (Wave to Jake as you pass the Leine's Brewery on your left.)
10. Stay in the LEFT lane and EXIT Left at first exit (4th Street/Civic Center).
11. Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp (At stop light, you're going south again).
12. Go STRAIGHT (South) onto 4th Street, and go 3 blocks. (Pass the Bradley Center)
13. Turn LEFT onto W KILBOURN AVE.

C) Driving in from the Northeast (starting here with Detroit)

Start: Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Romulus, MI
Total Distance: 365.6 miles (588.2 km)
Total Estimated Time: 6 hours, 45 minutes (at least 6 hours, with a -1hr time change)

Directions

1. Go West on I-94 WEST passing by Ann Arbor, MI to Indiana. ----- 215.1 miles
   (passing by Jackson, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, then head south around Benton Harbor)
2. Go West on I-94 WEST passing by Michigan City, IN to Illinois. ------ 47.0 miles
   (STAY on I-94 West thru Gary, IN, where it becomes I-94/I-80. DON¼T get on I-90 Toll road!!)
3. Go West on I-94/I-80 WEST to I-80/I-294 WEST (At Exit 74). ----- 3.1 miles
   (Stay straight to go onto I-80 W) (Portions toll).
4. Go West on I-80/I-294 WEST (Portions toll) to I-294 North (At Exit 155). ----- 5.4 miles
5. Take the I-294 NORTH/TRI-STATE exit on the left towards WISCONSIN.
6. Go North on I-294 ("Tri-State Tollway") (Portions toll) to I-94 WEST. ----- 48.0 miles
   (This takes you around Chicago, past O'Hare Int'l Airport)
7. Take TRI STATE N/I-94 W (Portions toll). ----- 24.0 miles
   (I-294 merges with I-94- Edens Exp. here. This is all torn up and back ups are severe!!)
   (Continue heading north. Past 6 Flags/GA with all the wicked coasters visible on your right)
   
8. Take TRI STATE N/I-94 W/N US-41 N. ----- 1.0 miles
   Into Wisconsin. Mind the state troopers with the radar guns. They thrive on out-of-state tourists to fund their budgets.... Keep the speeds to 75mph and you¼ll be fine.
9. TRI STATE N/I-94 W/N US-41 N becomes I-94 W once you're in Wisc. ----- 38.3 miles
   (Past Kenosha, Racine, and southern Milwaukee)
   Road construction in So. Milw. to the Airport
10. Past Gen. Mitchell Int'l Airport and stay in the right two lanes. Go straight on I-94 (NORTH).
11. Head into Downtown MILWAUKEE on I-94 W/I-43 N.
    (Over the "High Rise Bridge" into downtown Milwaukee past the twin smoke stacks on the left.)
12. Stay in the SECOND RIGHT lane (not the far right one) when you're on the bridge.
13. Go NORTH (exit number 72C), towards CIVIC CENTER/KILBOURN AVE Exit.
14. Take the I-43 NORTH exit towards GREEN BAY for about 1 mile.
15. Merge onto I-43 N. Stay in the FAR RIGHT lane here.
16. Exit immediately (0.3 miles) on the RIGHT into the Kilbourn Avenue Tunnel (Exit 72A).
17. KILBOURN TUNNEL becomes W KILBOURN AVE. (Go straight out of tunnel onto Kilbourn Ave.)
18. Go 3 blocks and turn LEFT onto N 4TH ST.

D) Driving in from all other cities West and South:

(Basically, head to CHICAGO!! And follow the instructions above for Chicago to Milwaukee.)

• From Louisville and Indianapolis, take I-65 to I-80/I-94 and follow the TRI-STATE around Chicago (see above, starting with step #2)
• From St. Louis, take I-55 into Chicago. Merge with the Tri-State at Exit 277 (see above, step #6)
• From Des Moines, take I-80 into Chicago. Merge with I-55 at Exit 126A, and head north to the Tri-State (at exit 277). Then follow the above directions (Step #6).
• From Cleveland and Toledo, take the I-80/I-90 Tollroad into Chicago. Merging with the Tri-State at Exit 155 (see above, starting with step #2)
