Welcome to my Web site
My name is Nicholas Avlonitis and I am a
Telecommunications Engineer.
In particular, my experience focuses on optical communication systems.
During my PhD research in optical communication systems at
Imperial College OSD research group I have researched alternative (multilevel) signaling
techniques for the increase of spectral efficiency of optical communication
systems. My research effort was sponsored by
Nortel Networks.
Currently, I teach Probability and Statistics to MBA and
BSc students studying at CMA college,
Athens.
