ACTIVITIES:

One of my characteristics is that I love to participate in all the activities I can possibly join and I enjoy being always stressed and not having any free time. That is why, one of the most important things in my life are the activities I do. Not only the academic life is important and useful for the person but the activities he takes part in are also useful and crucial for the development of his personality. The activities develop the personality and makes people learn how to deal with others in order to achieve a set goal.

In school, I joined the scout and we went camping regularly. I also had some activities through which I served the community I am living in.

I also went to the YWCA summer camps and the junior summer program at AUC.

I also participated in the world YWCA council, which takes place every four years. This year, it was in Cairo from the 15th to the 26th of July 1999. In this council, delegates from all the countries of the world gather in one place to discuss their policies and activities.

In the university, I passed my first year doing nothing because my primary concern was to declare in Business Administration, which required a very high GPA. At the beginning of my second year, I realized that I had wasted a lot of time and decided to begin joining the activities on campus and not only focus on my academic career.

The first project I joined was the Ramadan Charity Tent of 1999 and I was in the donations committee. This year I am thinking about applying as Donations Head in the Ramadan Charity Tent of 2000.

The second program I joined in the University was the Cairo Model United Nations (CIMUN) . I was a delegate in the Commission on Human Rights in CIMUN 99 and I was representing the Czech Republic. In CIMUN 2000, I am a member of the Reception Committee and I think we are a great committee that is doing a great job.

The third program I joined was the International Student Leadership Conference (ISLC) which is the only conference organized by the Student Union. In ISLC 99, I was in the Reception Committee. In ISLC 2000, I am the executive assistant.

The fourth program is the Model Arab League. I joined MAL 2000 as a delegate in the Arab Arab Dialogue.
