David "Blyss" Ezell

Blyss    David "Blyss" Ezell is a highly motivated dancer from Virginia who takes his craft of dance very seriously. His passion for dance began at an early age while attending the Governors Magnet School For The Arts. This passion has done nothing but grow every moment. He first began getting serious about dance in middle school when he joined the dance/step team TLC "The Larkspur Crew". Performing in front of large crowds and learning dance combinations became like second nature to him and after leaving The Larkspur Crew, Blyss auditioned for Touch of Class which later branched off into No Limit. No Limit was the #1 dance team in the Hampton Roads area and became well known throughout the state of Virginia. With No Limit, he had the opportunity to perform in the Super Bowl XXXI Pre-game show and at The Missy Elliott Talent Showcase held in Portsmouth, VA. While still a member of No Limit, he joined a Broadway group called The Voices of Virginia. Blyss performed in many of their shows including Give My Regards to Broadway for which he was recognized as Best Male Dancer & Triple Threat and 100 Years of Song and Dance which toured several cities in Japan. Other stage credits include Girlz in the Hood and African Kings and Queens for which Blyss made his debut as a choreographer. Blyss continued to grow as a performer and began choreographing for various productions taking inspiration from established choreographers Tina Landon, Marty Kudelka, Shawnette Heard and Wade Robson. Since moving to California in early 2003, Blyss worked as a performer at the Disneyland Resort, taught masterclasses throughout the country, taught private dance classes to some of Hollywood's hottest young stars, and became a finalist on the hit MTV show, The Wade Robson Project. Recently, Blyss started to get involved in artist development for up and coming singers as well as music video direction. He has also danced and choreographed for Janet Jackson Tribute Band, Twysted Elegance and assisted choreography and danced for Bobby Valentino. Blyss' first performance with Dance Planet was for the "All Nite" Janet Jackson Release Party. To find out more info. about Blyss, visit his website www.waderobsonfans.com/Blyss
